LAHAT JOBS successfully launched its first-ever HR Forum event last October 21, 2023 at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM). HR practitioners, business owners, and managers who were the main participants during the event had a fruitful discussion with Asia’s leading motivational speaker, Jonathan Yabut. With the theme of “Elevating Workplace Performance to New Heights”, participants learned about leadership, embracing diversity, and coaching the employees.
Amid the cloudy weather, there were about 170 (one-hundred-seventy) participants from large to start-up companies who attended the event. They enjoyed different giveaways such as LAHAT JOBS’ umbrella, notebook set, and free coffee and food. While 6 winners won the LAHAT JOBS raffle promo and 20 free tickets to FMX Workshops from Mr. Yabut. By 9:20 o’clock in the morning, the event started.

Jonathan Yabut is considered as the best motivational and business speaker not only in the Philippines but worldwide. Winning the first season of the Asian reality game show “The Apprentice Asia”, his valuable insights about the field inspired many young, start-up, and even professional entrepreneurs.
Advocating leadership, talent development of Generation Y, and office productivity, he published books and featured for different news and media outlets both international and Philippine channels. Today, he is the founder and managing director of JY Consultancy & Ventures which catered to 500 global clients from 15 countries since 2014.
Hence, LAHAT JOBS was ecstatic about Mr. Yabut’s participation in their launching event to connect various business companies and HR practitioners.
Some of his key lessons involved leadership, diversity, feedback, psychological safety, coaching employees, and love languages in the workplace. He also stated that age, specifically Gen Z, matters in terms of leadership style and work-life balance. That’s why some employees tend to do other things after their job is done.
He also mentioned the Pizza Culture in the workplace that is now trending on different social media platforms. “Pizza and coffee aren’t enough” as words of affirmation and hearing feedback both from bosses and employees should maintained.
