MANUAL FOR LAHAT FOOD RIDERS
Already submitted your application? Check this manual to get ready for your rider experience with us.
- Download ‘LAHAT Rider’ on Google Play or Apple Store.
- Click ‘Create Account’ and fill up all the necessary information (email, password, your name, and phone number). Please wait for the SMS code to verify your registered phone number.
- Once finished, you may provide other requirements such as a Driver’s License, NBI / Police Clearance, Emergency Contact, etc.
- Kindly wait for 1-2 business days for the approval of your account which will be sent to your registered email.
ACCEPTING YOUR FIRST ORDER
Once your registration is already approved by the admins, you may start accepting orders. Read the full manual to get started.
1. First, ensure that your GPS and notification feature is always ON with your app.
2. A notification will appear on your screen if there’s an order near your location. After clicking the notification, click the ‘Yes’ button to accept the order’s request.
3. Your delivery status will now appear in the ‘In Delivery’ section. With that, you can now inform our customer that their order is getting ready by sending this message:
4. You may check the store address, date, customer’s name, order number, etc. by clicking the ‘Order Detail’ under the ‘In Delivery’ page. Contact the store by sending this message:
GETTING READY TO DISPATCH
Once the store completed the preparation, you may go to their store and dispatch the order to your customer.
1. Before leaving the store, please remember to check if the orders are all complete and take note of the customer’s name and order number. Once finished, send this message to the customer:
2. Click the ‘Start Delivery’ button. Check the customer’s location using the Waze and Google Maps available on the app.
3. Already arrived at your destination? Take a picture of the order and upload this to the ‘Delivery Arrival’. Inform the customer that her or his order arrived by either calling or texting them.
For your information: If the customer requested to leave their goods to their lobbies, or guards, ask the name and position of the person who received it. You may send this message to our customer:
HEALTH CHECK!
We take care of our riders as much as we care about our customers. That’s why, we are reminding all of the riders to take note of the following instructions:
- Always maintain a healthy physical state by getting enough rest or sleep.
- Consuming alcoholic beverages or heavy medicine while on duty is strictly prohibited.
- Using drugs and other illegal substances is also prohibited.
- Maintain personal grooming such as neat and proper haircut, clean nails, daily bath, and use of deodorants and other antiperspirant products.
- In precaution with the COVID-19 and other viruses, please wear your face mask and use of alcohol regularly.
- We also remind our riders to use mouth fresheners after they smoke to avoid any health disturbances with the customers.
OTHER IMPORTANT REMINDERS
- Always wear the LAHAT FOOD proper uniform (LAHAT FOOD shirt, long dark brown, black, or blue pants, closed shoes, LAHAT FOOD helmet, and LAHAT FOOD delivery bag)
- Download and provide other essential applications which are the LAHAT FOOD app, telegram, cellphone with data, and another cellphone number.
- Maintain cleanliness and always fuel your motorcycle at all times.
- Don’t forget your driver’s license or certificate of registration.
