They say you reap what you sow, and searching for job opportunities is no different. What you put into the process determines the outcome. There are many ways to distinguish such feats, and a reward for excellent resumes is one. To honor the top participants and recognize their efforts, LAHAT Jobs held the Resume Rewards 2024.
Five individuals among many participants stood out because of their resumes. Each received the corresponding P5,000 cash prize during the event.
LAHAT Jobs Resume Reward 2024 winners
We interviewed them to get to know them better and pick their minds. Stated below are the questions and summary of their responses:
1. Please tell us a little bit about yourself.
The winners come from different backgrounds: graphic designing, human resources, marketing, and engineering. There is a diverse set of skills and experiences from our participants, but the common thing about them is that they all came to LAHAT Jobs for opportunities.
2. How did you learn about LAHAT Jobs?
Two participants said they were scrolling on Facebook when they found out about LAHAT Jobs and got curious, so they tried it out. The other two found out about LAHAT Jobs while searching for various and alternative platforms.
3. What made you interested in signing up with LAHAT Jobs?
This question has garnered different answers. One answered the compensation. Then, another said that they appreciated the accurate searching, and the others because they wanted to try alternatives to the usual job search engines. They also mentioned that the platform is promising, and some features are new to them.
4. What were your first impressions of the site/app?
Different answers were also given by the participants. One said that the first thing they noticed was the color scheme, but other than that, they said that it didn’t matter as much because the app contained necessary components and was good overall. They also applauded the feature that notifies users when employers view resumes.
5. Did you encounter any difficulties/problems during the sign-up?
The participants have different encounters with the app. One said that the process was smooth when they signed up. Then, one said that the sign-in page needs intuitiveness because it took two tries to get the verification code. Then, the other said there wasn’t an indication of the number of words. Lastly, the other one voiced concern about the session expiring whenever they closed the app.
6. How helpful was the design and features of the website? Was it easy to use?
The participants agreed about the ease of use and user-friendliness. One extended their answer and added that sometimes the app crashes but ultimately commended the app because of the features and the interface.
7. What did you put in your profile/resume that will make you stand out from the rest?
The winners have stated that they put their best into their profiles, hence their win. The answers range from providing a good cover letter, concise profile information, and impressive experiences to expertise in constructing resumes. All of which are befitting for a reward for excellent resumes.
8. Aside from the compensation, what are the other important factors you consider when applying for a role?
The important things about the job role are the growth opportunity, a clear listing description, a competitive company background, and a healthy working environment.
9. Describe your ideal employer.
An ideal employer should reflect the job seeker’s ideals, values, and principles. They should also challenge you, recognize your efforts, allow flexible work, and care for employees.
10. Would you recommend LAHAT Jobs to your peers, friends, and families?
When asked this question, they all immediately said yes. Most of them already recommended the platform to their friends and families. They did so because they think LAHAT Jobs can help every job seeker on their hunt for work.
