Lahat Jobs and Technical Educational Skills Authority (TESDA) partnered for a successful job fair at Robinsons Metro East. Hundreds of job seekers attended the event, connecting with potential employers and learning about career opportunities.
In celebration of its 30th founding anniversary, TESDA-NCR PaMaMariSan (Pasig, Mandaluyong, Marikina, and San Juan) hosted its first World Café of Opportunities on August 30, 2024, in the said district. The event aimed to connect more Technical-Vocational Education (TVET) graduates and job seekers with job opportunities that match their skills and abilities through a convenient one-stop hub. Hundreds of eager job seekers attended, with over six individuals securing positions on the spot.
Representatives of Lahat Jobs led by Director of Sales, Ms. Claire Vergara, and General Manager, Dr. Kent Omison, presented a talk to the job seekers to introduce the Lahat Jobs app as a new job search platform in the market and provided valuable insights on job hunting strategies and interview tips to the attendees.
More than 25 companies joined in the event, including Foundever, Megawide, J&T Express, Miescor, Goldilocks and more.
This is the first partnership of the Philippine-born job search platform and TESDA after they signed a memorandum of agreement and a memorandum of understanding with the Technical Vocational Schools Association (TVSA)on June 13, 2024, to provide the TVET scholars and alumni with access to more job opportunities through the Lahat Jobs platform.
Lahat Jobs: Connecting Dreams to Opportunities
The career portal Lahat Jobs is living up to its name by offering diverse job opportunities for job seekers from various backgrounds and fields. It aims to help applicants in their job search journey in an accessible manner.
During the job fair, almost all the jobseekers who were not yet registered signed up and created resumes for more possibilities of finding a job.
With less than a year since it was launched in October 2023, Lahat Jobs features job ads from over 600 companies, offering a wide range of blue, white, and pink-collar positions. Some of the companies include Oishi, Lotte Global Philippines Inc, Handyman, Daiso Japan, Hi-Precision, Army Navy, EO Executive Optical, Abenson, Mitsubishi Motors, and many others.
Moreover, Lahat Jobs is running an exciting new promo that rewards job seekers for finding employment through their platform. When a job seeker successfully applies for a position through Lahat Jobs app or website and gets hired, they will receive a bonus of 1,000 pesos after completing their first month of work.
